Salt efficiency: 3,000–4,000 grains removed per lb of salt (typical). Water per regeneration: 50–110 gallons depending on size and settings. Demand-initiated regeneration is recommended for salt and water savings. Pre-filtration helps protect the valve and resin bed from sediment and debris.
